"The room is quite spacious, and the bathroom also has a decent amount of space, but it lacks a separate wet and dry area. The toilet is also too close to the sink, making it easy to bump into if you move slightly, and the sink doesn't have corner protectors. However, the hot water supply is ample and stable. All four outlets by the bed were not working, and the one in the bathroom was also broken. The hotel I stayed at in Xining a few days ago was also on the fourth floor, and I opened the window at night there too. I'm not sure why this room had so many small flying insects, especially on the bed. I also found a small oil stain on the bedsheet. The front desk service was excellent; they addressed my concerns immediately."

"I stayed in a private bed room this time, not a dormitory. The room was very clean, with no strange smells, and the bathroom and shower were also spotless, with no mold issues. I was on the third floor. It's worth noting that smoking is allowed in this building. Someone was smoking in the lobby on the first floor, and the smoke would drift up the hallway. Even with the window open and the exhaust fan on, the smell of smoke from the hallway and neighboring rooms would sometimes seep into my room through the gap under the door. The soundproofing of the room was also just average, which was a bit of a shame. Closing the window and turning off the exhaust fan significantly reduced the smoke smell. I later bought masking tape from a nearby stationery shop and sealed the gaps around my door every night, which worked very well. It seems that Gansu and Qinghai are generally more tolerant of smoking compared to other places. Overall, though, the room was very clean and odorless, and I slept well at night. It was a good stay overall."

What really stood out was the warm, attentive, and thorough service; they cleaned the room daily. Plus, the airport shuttle is right across the street, which was incredibly relaxing – no need to lug my suitcase around!"

"Quite a peculiar experience. On the first day, we were told there were gas repairs and hot water would only be available from 6 PM. However, by midnight, there was still no hot water. After a tiring day of travel, all we wanted was a hot shower, but it was impossible. To top it off, the pipe under the sink in our room was leaking. We had to switch rooms. We were too tired to bother moving again, so we just made do. Overall, it's pretty average, and the breakfast selection was a bit limited. I hope things improve in the future."

"I took a shower, and water overflowed from the toilet into the room. The room was small, with no windows or air conditioning, and poor ventilation. To make matters worse, after washing my hair that night, I realized there was no comb… which made it even more infuriating; I hadn't combed my hair all night and into the day… The slippers smelled awful with foot odor, and considering it's peak tourist season, the price was truly appalling… It wasn't good value for money, and there were even cockroaches in the room…"
